This wine is a blend of 64% Syrah with 29% Grenache and 7% Mourvèdre. The wine opens with aromatics of white pepper, anise, prune and red cherry. This leads to medium to heavy weight flavors of red cherry, rose petals, red raspberry, pomegranate and hints of leather. The bright minerality combines nicely with the dense fruit flavors in this excellent new release by Peachy Canyon. (Best 2016-2025) - June, 2016 (OB)
