Massican's 2021 Chardonnay from the legendary Hyde vineyard is another outstanding wine in their 2021 lineup. It displays attractive aromas of key lime, Asian pear, lychee, lemon peel, river stone, and white flowers and with secondary scents of flint, honeycomb, and lemon all taking shape. On the palate this possesses a wonderful texture and is also beautifully layered. It is highlighted by tangy acidity and a long, mineral driven finish. While this is drinking beautifully today, it also has the potential to age exceptionally well for the next decade.
