The Los Carneros Pinot Noir from Cuvaison has grippy, crunchy tannins, racy acidity, and is incredibly fruit-forward on the palate. Gobs of blue plum, black cherry, Earl gray tea, cherry cola, and cigar box dominate. It rests for 10 months in 30% new French oak barrels and is rich and decadent on the finish. A Cabernet-lovers Pinot Noir. Better in 2024. `
