Aged sur lie for 10 months in 54% new French oak, this wine is big in structure and layers. The nose gives dense, complex aromas of boysenberry, huckleberry, dusty road and a touch of hoisin sauce. A touch of savory herbs hit the mid palate, and is quickly taken over by lucious spicy black fruit and powerful concentration of flavors, acidity and tannin. This is a powerful, fruit-forward Pinot. 425 cases produced.
