PAUL HOBBS Chardonnay, Russian River Valley 2019

A blend of the top estates from Paul Hobbs and aged in 30% new French oak for about 12 months. Medium lemon core with a silvery rim, the nose pops with aromas of lemon curd, white mushroom, cream, allspice, and dried bay leaf. Moving to the palate, candied lemon peel, ripe pear, Marcona almond, tangerine zest, and a hint of sweet clove express themselves wonderfully in a full-bodied and luscious mouthfeel. Perfect levels of acidity pair perfectly with the fruit and spiced finish. 4000 cases produced.
