The 2019 Return sports a bright neon ruby core with a blue-silver rim and, like the 2020 vintage, is an exceptionally structured, earthy, and spicy Pinot Noir. Notes of black cherry, tangerine peel, lemony herbs, sweet clove, pencil eraser, and a touch of dried sagebrush hit hard on the palate, while lemony acidity, crunchy tannins, and a lengthy savory finish complete the wine. Better in 2023, best in 2024.
