The Patzimaro Vineyard is located at the bottom of Spring Mountain and is known for wonderful diurnal shifts. The result is a gorgeous Cabernet Sauvignon, which delivers aromas of ripe dark fruits, mocha, anise and hints of black olive tapenade. This has beautiful freshness on the palate, as the wine unveils rich anise, crème de cassis, black cherry reduction and cigar box flavors. The combination of richness and tension is gorgeous. While already quite appealing, it would be best to allow this at least another year or two of bottle age.
