The 2017 Columbia Valley Rosé is a blend of 70% Grenache and 30% Mourvèdre. The wine was aged for a few months in neutral barrels, which adds to the textural elements to the wine. The wine itself begins with aromas of rose petals, smoke and red cherry candy. The palate displays a great combination of tension, weight and textural richness as it possesses excellent balance through the finish. This is a fantastic showing and is truly amongst the upper echelon Rosé wines in the state.
