Blue Mountain Vineyard is becoming one of the most exciting relatively new sites in the state. Displaying a glass-staining purple color, this contnues to impress with aromas of smoky notes along with dark fruits that dominate the highly perfumed nose. The palate shows a great combination of weight and balance as flavors of milk chocolate malt ball, cigar shavings, smoked brisket and blackberry pie all wonderfully connect with some light citrus tones. This outstanding effort should age well in the cellar and continue to drink marvelously over the course of next decade.
