The 2015 Matthews Cabernet Sauvignon shows an inky hue and opens with a bright bouquet of cassis, graphite and some lighter oaky undertones. The balance and poise of the wine is really good, as is the dark fruit flavors that mingle with cocoa powder and coffee grounds. Downright delicious, this is best enjoyed over the next decade.
