The 2016 Riviere Vineyard Grenache is begins with pretty aromatics od rose petals, red. Cherry preserves and smoked meats. There is a lightly stony aspect not he nose. There is a wonderful mid-palate astringency with red rose, smoked brisket, blood orange rind and guava puree. This shows a lovely elegant side.
