The 2015 Northstar ‘Columbia Valley’ Merlot is a fantastic wine from this warm vintage in Washington. On the nose this takes on good decadence with black tea, anise and cocoa powder. Poised and showing good mid-palate richness, copious dark fruits fill the palate with bright acidity. This will drink marvelously for a decade or more.
