The 2011 Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is a fabulous showing from Quilceda Creek in this vintage. It opens to inviting aromas of blackberries, cassis and red plums which are joined by nuances of spices, cigar box and dried violets that all take shape. The Palate is medium to full-bodied, refined and seamless. It displays outstanding overall balance, focus and concentration, while showing lovely vibrance all the way though the long, sleek finish that carries on effortlessly. After nearly a decade the 2011 is drinking beautifully, yet looks like there is still plenty of life ahead for this gorgeous 100% Cabernet Sauvignon that was sourced from Champoux, Klipsun, Palengat, Taptiel, and Wallula vineyards.
