A fun wine coming from Washington State that is competing with the best Mouvedre in the world. I love the earthiness and funkiness that a good Mouvedre brings to the table and Gramercy Cellars is bringing it. This wine sees no new oak and is aged 18 months in neutral French oak puncheons and barrels. A fresh bouquet of dark plum, black raspberry, fresh rose petals, forest moss, Indian spices and deer jerky are prevalent. On the palate, experience flavors of black plumcot, dark cherry, deer jerky, and tilled earth. There is a beautiful spiciness experienced in the back of the throat while the length is full. Only 320 cases are produced.
