Stunning deep purple, with a bluish tinted rim, this blend of 36% Grenache, 36% Syrah and 26% Mourvedre is aged for 16 months in 30% concrete egg, 55% in 500L puncheon, and 15% in neutral barrel. The intoxicating nose expresses exuberant aromas of violet and purple flower petals, boysenberry and peppery notes. Black cherry, clove and a spec of tar dance on the palate. Acidity, tannin, alcohol and fruit are all balanced to deliver a very nice GSM blend from Red Mountain. Only 285 cases produced.
