The 2018 Third Man is a melange of 75% Grenache, 15% Syrah and 10% Mourvedre, and rests for 17 months in neutral French oak barrels, to create a wonderful GSM of beauty and character. Earthy aspects dominate this red-fruit driven wine that delivers additional notes of red flower petals, graphite, crushed peppercorn and roasted lamb. It’s silky on the palate, gives plenty of acidity and tannin and is absolutely wonderful. 450 cases produced. Best buy.
