100% Viognier from Columbia Valley, the 2019 Irreverent shows medium-lemon in the glass with a silvery rim. Aged almost 2 years in barrel in 33% new French oak, it’s a more Condrieu-style of wine than what you typically see in Washington. Medium acidity moves to a very rich and oily palate that brings some lovely herbaceousness and flavors of lemon-lime citrus, dried cedary herbs, potpourri, and ripe apricot.
