70% Roussanne and 30% Marsanne with parts coming from one of my favorite vineyards in Washington, Weathereye. It’s aged 14 months in a combination of 30% new oak, along with neutral oak and concrete egg. Rich aromas and flavors of yellow peach, toasted tree nuts, dried herbs, allspice, and a hint of dried banana make this an incredibly interesting wine and one I’ve enjoyed year after year. Made in a more traditional style of Roussanne and Marsanne with lower acid and an oily mouthfeel, it finishes lush and is wonderfully balanced. Only 121 cases produced.
