Dark and brooding in the glass, the Petite Sirah brings that lovely opaque dark purple core with a lighter blue rim. It’s not only concentrated in the glass, it’s concentrated on the palate, with notes of black plums, boysenberries, black-pepper charcuterie, dried purple potpourri, and wet earth. Rich and decadent on the finish, it’s balanced by the perfected levels of acidity. Almost 500 cases made.
