CHATEAU STE. MICHELLE Cabernet Sauvignon 'Druthers' 2013

Following up the highly impressive '12 bottling, the 2013 Chateau St. Michelle 'Druthers' Cabernet is a gorgeous effort from this estate. There are dense and lovely aromatics of baking spices, red cherry, red currant with red bell pepper. This leads to rich flavors of blackberry preserves, red cherry, and mocha with lovely density. Intense and moderately tannic now, this has massive potential. The weight and texture give this Cabernet a seamless quality. Outstanding effort from head winemaker Bob Bertheau for crafting another stunning Cabernet bottling. (Best 2016-2026) - April, 2016 (OB)
