This Merlot wine opens with aromatics of prune, black plum, black cherry and sagebrush. There are rich flavors of cassis, anise, black cherry, prune and dates. The minerality is there providing a nice backbone to this fruity Merlot. I think this will cellar marvelously into the next decade. (Best 2016-2024) - September, 2016 (OB)
