INTRINSIC Cabernet Sauvignon 2013

This Cabernet Sauvgnon is a side project from the head winemaker at Columbia Crest, with a maceration period of up to ten times the standard duration. Rather than being overly tannic and astringent, the result is a very balanced fruit forward blend with well rounded tannins balanced with vibrant acidity. The dense aromatic profile shows ripe cherries, green olives on the nose while the wine has rich black currant and mocha flavors through the finish. (Best 2016-2025) - October, 2016 (OB)
