The 2013 ‘Alatus’ red is a blend of 58% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Merlot, 9% Syrah and 5% Malbec. This wine opens with a bouquet of dark fruits, Turkish coffee, black tea, Asian spices and suggestions of milk chocolate. The acidity and weight impresses as flavors of black forest cake, black cherries and black olive tapenade lead to a long and lightly tannic finish. (Best 2017-2027) - October, 2017 (OB)
