The 2014 Columbia Valley Merlot displays a lovely dark color followed by aromatics of prune, red cherry pie and baking spices. The mouthfeel is silky and refined. Deep flavors of black cherry, Hoisin sauce, blackberry cobbler and nutmeg impress. The structure of this wine is outstanding considering the heat of the vintage.
