SLEIGHT OF HAND Chardonnay 'Enchanteress' 2014

The 2014 Enchanteress Chardonnay was sourced from the French Creek Vineyard where this Wente Clone was first planted in 1980. The wine was aged in neutral French oak for 10 months and was aged on the lees. The aromas are delightful, with nuances of butterscotch, New York apple and vanilla cream. The mouthfeel is plush and silky smooth as this shows off vanilla cream, wild mushroom, and Bosc pear flavors that sit alongside acidity which keeps it fresh and inviting through the finish. (Best 2017-2027) - November, 2017 (OB)
