JONATA ’Todos’ 2010

The 2010 ’Todos’ blend is composed of 78% syrah, 8% Sangiovese, 5% merlot, 3% cabernet sauvignon, 1% viognier, 1% grenache, 1% cabernet franc, 1% petit verdot, 1% sauvignon blanc and 1% Semillon. It displays a dark menacing color, delivering aromas, which include blackberries, roasted plum, black olive, pepper, smoke, spices, bacon and violets. This continues to impress on the palate, where this wonderfully polished wine offers layers of concentrated fruits, which are beautifully balanced by underlying acidity that keeps it fresh and inviting all the way through the finish. A superb effort by winemaker Matt Dees and the team at Jonata. (Best 2015-2026) - June, 2014 (JD)
