The Los Alamos Vineyard Chardonnay is another fantastic effort in this vintage from winemaker Gavin Chanin. As this gorgeous Chardonnay unwind, it slowly begins to releases striking aromas and flavors of ripe citrus fruits, honey, green apple, slate and floral blossoms. This is balanced and elegant, displaying wonderful purity of fruit, which is highlighted by a core of vibrant acidity. While delicious now, this will be best with another year or two of bottle age for it to fully develop and take on even more complexity. (Best 2019-2028) - July, 2017 (MD)
