CÔTE BONNEVILLE Cabernet 'Train Station' 2014

The 2014 'Train Station' Cabernet is an impressive release from this estate. This is their lower price point wine that is 100% Cabernet that was just released. The wine has a dense color and begins with rich aromas of prune, ripe red raspberry and cassis. There are dense flavors of blackberry cobbler, blueberry compote, and mocha with a lovely long finish and strong structure. Very solid, as the seamless texture and rich fruit weight from this warm vintage shows through. This Cabernet will be a tremendous match for a big ribeye steak. (Best 2016-2024) - April, 2016 (OB)
