The 'Rosa Mystica' was reintroduced by Owen Roe in 2014. This release shows that it was a wonderful decision to make this great wine once again. This Cabernet Franc begins with aromatics of ripe red cherries, red bell pepper and sage. This leads to flavors of rose petals, red cherry, sagebrush, red raspberry and hints of blood orange. This is a lithe, polished and complex wine that shows the warmth of the vintage. Despite its forward personality, this has the backbone to cellar well into the next decade.(Best 2016-2025) - August, 2016 (OB)
