I love the special edition Kokoro Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs from Paul Lato, and this 2020 does not disappoint. Showcasing a medium gold core with a watery rim and aromas of yellow nectarine, dried pineapple, toasted clove, orange blossom, and just a speck of dried hay. Very fresh, round, and perfectly balanced on the palate, the flavors of Granny Smith apples, toasted hazelnut, and a hint of cedary herbs meld nicely with the tense acidity and white peppery finish that lasts for ages on the mid-palate. Only 100 cases of this delicious wine were produced. Highly recommended.
