The 2014 Syrah from Red Car comes primarily from their Estate Vineyard in Fort Ross-Seaview with 5% from Vivo in Bennett Valley. It is a classic style of Syrah which begins with aromas of blackberry, blue fruits, white pepper, leather, followed by hints of rosemary, smoke and violet. Elegant and powerful, this coats the palate with ripe blue and black fruits, that are followed up by a gorgeous velvety finish.
