The 2016 Bob’s Ranch Pinot Noir is a glorious effort from Walt. Bob’s Ranch has 50-acres of Pinot Noir are planted on this property and I am becoming a big fan of the fruit coming off this exciting estate vineyard. The wine is deeply colored and begins with intense aromas of cherry cola, sassafras, black tea, Asian spice and wet soil and shows a wonderful mouthfeel and texture. A total stunner, with black fruits dominating and a cola character also shining brightly. This Pinot Noir has a long life ahead of it.
