This wonderful Pinot Noir from Modus Operandi is their base level Sonoma Coast bottling and definitely delivers more than the base price point suggests. It sports a light to medium ruby core with a light pink rim as well as typical Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir aromas of red raspberry, wild strawberry, black tea, and some cedary herbs. It does see 40% new French oak during aging which brings out some lovely cinnamon and clove notes on the palate. Acidity is in the medium-high range, tannins are in check, and it delivers a lovely mouthfeel. 200 cases produced
