Dark ruby in the glass with a silvery rim, this is a deep, extracted Pinot Noir that carries a lot of body and weight and is aged in 50% new French oak. Dark berry, fresh purple flower petals, toasted cinnamon, and sugared pie crust aromas pop from the glass. The palate is rich and oily in texture but also dark-fruit-driven. Acidity is on the medium side and it ends with an interesting dried herb aspect on the back palate. Only 2 barrels made.
