The Rice-Spivak Vineyard Pinot Noir is a standout in the 2018 Larue lineup. It instantly impresses as it offers up aromas of wild strawberries, muddled raspberries, and ripe plum, coupled with tilled soil, dried spice, lavender and fresh gardenia flowers. On the palate this has mouthwatering red berries, currants, candied strawberry, combined with earth and spices. This is very approachable on release, but will ultimately be at its best after 3-5 years and evolve over the next 12-15 years.
