The always delicious Sojourn Gap’s Crown Chardonnay boasts a light lemony core with a watery rim and sees about 25% new French oak during fermentation. Lofty aromas of fresh white peach, fresh citrus, and lemony herbs, with just a hint of Honeydew melon pop from the glass. The palate is much the same, but with a bitter herb and lemon verbena note that sits on the back palate. Lush with vibrant acidity, this one should age well for the next 8-10 years. 175 cases produced.
