FREEMAN WINERY Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast 2011

The 2011 Freeman Winery Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast brings aromas of strawberries, cranberry, spices, dried floral, cola and even hints of earthy notes, which emerge instantly from the glass. This is a mouthful of Pinot fruit with a gorgeous silky texture that is supported by soft tannins and beautiful acidity balancing things out. The finish is supple with spice and berry flavors lingering. This is an excellent effort in what was considered a tough vintage for Pinot growers. The vineyard breakdown is as follows; 23% Harmony Lane, 22% Connell, 18% Rayhill, 15% Guidici, 12% Campbell and 10% La Cruz. (Best 2014-2022) - June, 2013 (JD)
