Golden straw in color. Nose of tropical fruit, some pineapple and petrol. Flavors of tropical fruits and lychee, framed by lemon and lemon custard. Some definite signs of oak that needs a bit more time to be completely resolved, there is also a touch of heat on the back end. Very concentrated and oily with a yummy finish that lasts for more than 45 seconds. A great wine that will get even better with a bit more time. - August, 2013 (JR)
