The 2012 vintage is Red Car's first release from the Hagan vineyard. The vineyard is situated about five miles from the Pacific and sits at 850ft elevation. The wine itself delivers lovely aromas of pear, dusty lemon zest, green apple, acacia flower and a touch of ginger which jump from the glass. It is round and smooth, with a creamy texture, finishing up with a gorgeous touch of acidity that leaves you wanting more. Drink it now or over the next few years. (Best 2015-2022) - April, 2015 (JD)
