The 2012 Red Car Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir is a blend from some of Sonoma's most well known vineyards (34% Red Car Estate, 33% Bohemian Station, 15 % Hagan, 8% Platt, 6% Weeks, and 4% Zephyr Farms). It offers lovely aromas of fresh raspberries, wild strawberries, sour cherries, spring flowers and a hint of citrus peel. There are very attractive red fruits on the palate with notable acidity. Overall, this medium-bodied Pinot Noir possesses nice balance and focus across the palate into the elegant finish. This is drinking well now and can be enjoyed over the next 5-7 years.
