This wine begins with aromas of blackberry cobbler, creosote, stewed prune and Turkish coffee. There are flavors of black cherry, black raspberry, mocha and prune alongside a lovely mineral backbone. Really nice weight and texture on the mid-palate. Gorgeous bottling that needs a one hour decant to show its true colors. I think this wine will cellar marvelously.
