The Anderson Valley Pinot Noir comes from the warmer climate of Mendocino County. The fruit is ripe and bold, but still delivers a lot of balance and elegance. It opens with lovely aromas of sweet currant, earth, spice, raspberry, cumin and floral notes. On the palate there are lots of fresh fruit and spices, which all lead into the long dry finish. Could use some additional time in the bottle, but certainly should be pleasing to most. (Best 2014-2025) - June, 2014 (MD)
