Almost 100% Pinot Noir with just a touch of Chardonnay dosage that spends 18 months en tirage displays a gorgeous light pink and orange color in the glass. A bit shy on the nose while cold, it eventually opens up aromas of nectarine, apricot flesh, white grapefruit, and toasted almond croissant. The mousse is a touch aggressive to start, but within a few minutes, it settles down and dances nicely across the palate. Bountiful acidity and a citrusy mineral finish complete the wine. Enjoy this one over the next decade or more.
