The 2022 Estate Whole Cluster Pinot Noir from Ayoub rested in 25% new French oak barrels for 11 months. Boasting a glimmering light neon ruby core with a light pink rim in the glass, it delivers stunning aromas of cranberries, crushed red raspberries, rose hips, dried forest herbs, violet flowers, sandalwood, and fresh linens. Incredibly young, it needs a year or two in the bottle to really show its stuff, but you can already see the potential. Elegant and mouthwatering on the palate, it finishes with lovely red and blue fruit aspects on the mid palate, along with some crunchy tannins that will soften with time. Highly recommended.
