SOLÉNA Pinot Noir, Yamhill-Carlton 'Danielle Laurent' 2019

Gorgeous aromas of red and black cherries, mocha, sandalwood and potpourri spill from the glass on this gorgeous Pinot Noir which sees about 20% new French oak. This wine is young, and will benefit from a year or two of rest in bottle but is still incredibly delicious with flavors of red plum jam, cranberry sauce, tangerine zest, violet flower petals and some toasty baking spices. Acidity and tannins are both on the high range but balances out with the 13.8% alcohol and lovely fruit characteristics.
