The scrumptious 2022 Domaine Daniel Laurent Pinot Noir from Solea gifts a light to medium ruby-orange core with a silver rim in the glass and opens with wonderful crushed volcanic rock aromas on the nose. The palate moves to flavors of macerated strawberries, ripe red plum, a touch of charcuterie, cherry liquor, and toasted tree nuts. Tannins are smooth and sweet, with lemony acidity and a dried herb and rose petal note that sits on the back of the palate on the finish. Just 500 cases made.
