A complex and delicious Pinot Noir that is aged 16 months in French oak, with 30% of the barrels being new. The nose on this wine is outstanding - I kept going back to it for 30 minutes before I could even take a sip. It’s a bit dirty in the glass, in a very good way, with aromas of black raspberry, espresso, cola, rawhide, portabella mushroom, forest floor and poultry spices. You must experience this wine to understand how beautifully complex it really is. The palate is an inspiration of black cherry, sweet red plums, cranberry sauce, eucalyptus and sweet baking spices. Ready to drink now. Highly recommended. Only 634 cases produced.
