OJAI Pinot Noir, Soloman Hills Vineyard 2014

The Soloman Hills Vineyard Pinot Noir from Ojai is from a cool vineyard site with exposure to the Pacific. This vibrant Pinot Noir offers complex aromas of pomegranate, strawberry, savory herb and fresh rose, which are woven together with exotic spices, and a mix of earthy like nuances. This is even more impressive for its structure and elegance which is complemented by the silky tannins and backed by a core of racy acidity. Although it is showing well today, it could benefit from another few years of bottle age and will continue to flourish over the next decade. (Best 2018-2028) - June, 2017 (MD)
