RAMEY WINE CELLARS Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley 'Annum' 2011

The 2011 ‘Annum’ is a compelling blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon and 25% Cabernet Franc, which has been sourced from vineyards in Oakville, Mt. Veeder and Diamond Mountain. This offers seductive aromas of cassis, black cherries, savory herbs and fresh cut florals. It impresses with its overall balance, gorgeous round tannins and plush texture that glides right into the finish. Just a lovely effort from David Ramey in 2011, the wine is delicious today but also shows moderate aging potential as well. (Best 2014-2023) - October, 2014 (JD)
