The 2013 Newton Cabernet Sauvignon is another classy effort from this estate which wine begins with bright aromatics reminiscent of coffee grounds, mocha, blackberry tart, and boysenberry preserves. Having plenty of grip and lovely weight on the mid-palate, the silky texture glides, revealing dense black fruit flavors and milk chocolate accents with a graphite edge, as this possesses a striking minerality.
